Community Services
- We participate in appropriate community events, such as Shreveport's Black History parade and community clean-ups
-Shreveport/Bossier community is made aware of church events such as Vacation Bible School (VBS) and Friends & Family Days
-Homeless Outreach: provide transport to where the meals are being served, provide hygiene & bedding items, etc.
-We are a contact for resources available in the Shreveport/Bossier area inc. food stamps, poison control, child protection etc.
-We assist with disaster relief in the Shreveport/Bossier area
-We provide transportation to church on Sabbath (Saturday)
-We interact with youth at our recreation center(s)
-We assist the elderly & widowed in the Shreveport/Bossier area
-We donate to & assist The Providence House
-We assist our young single parents with hands-on cleaning, organization and meal planning in the home
-We assist with feeding at the different missions
-We assist individuals & families with budgeting
-We assist the sick & shut in
-We operate the "Cedar Grove Community Service Discount Household Items Store"
-We pray with families in bereavement & offer the following items: hand pump soap, paper towels, tissue & Kleenex
